A Villainous Birthday Party

An early birthday present for my friend . I'm sorry I haven't been drawing as many birthday drawings over the last few months for people who have had birthdays - I have been sending birthday wishes whenever I can, but I've been lacking inspiration for drawings quite a bit over the past few months and life stuff has been pretty prominent. (But don't worry, I'm planning my usual Christmas present drawing for everyone as usual - I will welcome any suggestions or requests from friends for that.  )

For my friend , I know she's a big fan of Disney villains, so I decided to draw some of her favourites, and some of my favourites, wishing her a happy birthday. When I was drawing this, I was thinking 'which villains would be the most inclined to wish a happy birthday. And don't say NONE, because I know that some Disney villains are more upbeat, more bouncy and more goofy than others.
My friend says King Candy is one of her favourite characters, so he was obvious, and she really loves Randall Boggs too (he's probably the most bored here and feels out of place ). But I wanted to include a few more, so I decided to add in Professor Ratigan (who I see tries to act like a civilised gentleman despite being an obvious cartoony bad guy ) and Dawn Bellwether, two of my absolute favourites that I really like drawing, and then two I've never drawn before that I know she loves too, Ursula and Mad Madam Mim. And as for Dr Facilier, he's one I haven't drawn for AGES.


So, long story short, what started off as a simple one villain drawing exploded into six.
