Ginga Goruden Tantei Nazo - The Outcast Corps 1

Time for the next part of my Ginga Nagareboshi Gin comic. This is the part that introduces the main heroes for the comic.  Also, just quick heads up - I know that in my picture 'Sniffer Dog', I wrote down some backstories for some characters - BUT, and this is a big BUT, while drawing this page, I've been thinking quite a bit about them - and I'll be changing those backstories throughout this comic. I had some good ideas for improvements of the backstories during the comic. Also, I've finished watching Ginga Nagareboshi Gin, but if there are any continuity errors during this comic, I apologise in advance. I'll try my hardest to keep to continuity if anything reminiscent of the original series comes up or is mentioned, but if I make any mistakes continuity wise, I apologise again.


Anyhoo, time for the next part of the comic to begin - introducing the main characters of the comic. Nazo the Pitbull Terrier (also known by some as The Dog With the Golden Nose), Eiyu the Alaskan Malamute (also known by some as the Midnight Samurai, translated from Japanese Middonaitosamurai ), Hori the Alaskan Malamute (Eiyu's niece and Nazo's best friend), and Paru the puppy Chow Chow (Nazo's adopted daughter - and yes, what happened to her biological parents will be revealed in time).

Nazo is training under Eiyu, and I tried drawing some attacks and combat moves here of the two training - also, even if there is a bit of blood shown, bear in mind that they're only training - which is why no large damage is done - even if Eiyu does throw Nazo onto his back.

Middonaitosuraisu translates into 'Midnight Slice' - what does that move entail? Also, it turns out that Nazo's previous teacher, when he was still a police dog, isn't one he thinks too fondly of.... I wonder why that is...

Nazo and Eiyu thank each other for the training, and it turns out that Hori and Paru have been watching the whole session. And Hori has news that some dogs from the Ou army (the army of dogs that Riki was in charge of in the original Ginga Nagareboshi Gin series) - SPEAKING OF WHICH - were the dogs ALWAYS known as the Ou army, or only after the show's finale, I will admit, I'm not entirely sure - but that's the name I came across on the Ginga Wiki.

The Outcast Corps is a pack of dogs that at the present moment, has no 'leader' as such - even if some of the pack consider Eiyu as the leader, he considers them all to be equals.

And who are the other members of the Outcast Corps like?
