Description

UPDATE: Beaten the Elite Four and the Champion again - this time switching Chainy and Asumo with Aggie and Barnacle, so that all of my team members can have at least one entry into the Hall of Fame. :aww:

I've just beaten Diantha, the Champion of Kalos, and my team is now fully evolved, so I decided to draw them again in their final forms... Except for one member, who can't evolve, but is still pretty cool. :aww:

From left to right, and I've tried to keep the scaling correct, we have - with some information (some bios will be larger than others, depending on how much more extra information I've thought up while playing Pokemon Y. :D ) :

Conker the Chesnaught: Since he evolved, Conker's skills as a woodcarver have surely grown, and as well as changing his trusty catapult into a kind of chestnut pistol, he's even grafted his own banjo and hat! While being better able to control his urges to try out his skills as a sharpshooter than he was as a Chespin, he still likes trying out target practice once in a while.

Conker's moves are Cut, Dig, Seed Bomb, Hammer Arm, Spiky Shield and Needle Arm, and during the game, his best victories have been in battles against Korrina, Clemont and Wulfric, and he also beat up Wikstrom's Probopass, Siebold's Clawitzer and Babaracle, and Diantha's Tyrantum.

Smithee the Talonflame: Her full name being Smithing-Smoke, Smithee's flame reading abilities have definitely improved since her childhood, and Smithee now has the ability to see fire visions handled perfectly. However, she still sometimes tries to START fires to be able to stare into them, because since childhood, she has always been enthralled by fire. Also, she speaks with a Native American accent and tone of voice, and her father, Xipli the Hawlucha (thank you for the name inspiration :iconshort-takes: ;) ), is visited by her often. Ever since an... incident with Conker knocking her out with a chestnut from his catapult when they were younger, Conker and Smithee have made up their differences, as Smithee saw that Callum, Kindle, Conker and the rest of the team had pure spirits, and they did not mean her or her tribe harm. However, ever since she was younger, she has asked Kindle if she could melt some of his beloved Razz berries to make face paint - but seen as how much Kindle loves the taste of Razz Berries... The results are varied...

(BTW, with Smithee's Native American culture, I have not tried AT ALL to be the least bit offensive or culturally insensitive - I was actually thinking of the Tintin comic Tintin in America and the Indian encampment from Peter Pan when I was designing Smithee's backstory... ^^; )

Smithee's moves are Flame Charge, Acrobatics, Steel Wing, Fly and Brave Bird. Her best victories have been in battles against Viola, Korrina, Ramos and Valerie, and she also did well against Wikstrom's Klefki and Scizor, and against Diantha's Gourgeist.

Aggie the Noivern: Given to Callum at the start of his journey by his friend Michael (thank you :iconvindurza: :D ) along with a Klefki egg :meow: , being told that she had been taken in by Michael's Noivern as his daughter, Aggie has had a rather rough childhood.... Being given to Callum along with an old battered storybook that he said has to be read to her every night to help her sleep and 'rest her strength' Aggie, despite her solitary and quiet nature, has been prone to violent tempers, and as time went by, the cause was revealed... She is actually a vampire! (Sorry, I HAD to make a third vampire Pokemon in my team, I just HAD to. ^^; )

Even through her violent outbursts, however, she was still able to find solitude during the day and befriend her teammates- even though she couldn't usually tolerate sunlight very well, it can't kill her. She also made friends with Dracula and Lucy.... But then, shortly after catching Deadwood as a Phantump, disaster struck... Aggie, tired of hearing the same storybook to keep her quiet, ran away one night, and not only attacked some of the team members, but she fled to a secluded forest where she could be alone...

After a group of events that will be explained more in a future comic :excited:, Deadwood, who until now had never met Aggie, was able to confront her and put a stop to her rage, and since then, Aggie and Deadwood have been best friends ever since. Being able to sleep truly soundly for the first time in her life, Aggie also gained the inner peace she needed to grow stronger and evolve. However, she is still sometimes prone to some of the most violent tempers in the team, but with the help of Dracula and Lucy, who know what it's like to suddenly lose your temper to vampiric tendencies, help her to keep calm. But when annoyed, Aggie does often shriek at the top of her lungs with BoomBurst, which can prove useful... and painful...

Aggie's moves are Hurricane, Bite, Return, Draco Meteor, Air Slash, Super Fang and Boomburst, and she has helped the team through many tough scrapes - her most noticeable victories in battles against Viola and Olympia. Also, she has triumphed against Drasna's Altaria and Diantha's Hawlucha.

Chainy the Klefki: The second team member given to Callum as a gift by his friend Michael (once again, many thanks to :iconvindurza: :highfive: ), Michael had heard about Callum's opinions on Klefki, so as a special surprise, he gave a Klefki egg to him. Chainy has always had a knack for keeping Callum's small personal belongings safe. While he is often a very timid sort - his voice and personality are based off Piglet from Winnie the Pooh :meow: - he can be counted on to remind everyone of their small belongings, and has also personally volunteered to carry Callum's keys for safekeeping. He has also been given an Inukshuck keychain Callum brought on holiday once (in Canada :D ), and a bottle opener.

Chainy's moves are Draining Kiss, Mirror Shot, Play Rough and Foul Play, and even if he may not LOOK like he puts up much of a fight - he sure does do well in fights! Also, he may not often be one to ask to take part in a fight, he proves that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover - or a Pokemon by their size.

He's performed well in battles against Korrina, Valerie and Wulfric, and against Diantha's Hawlucha. Also, Chainy was beaten up by Lysandre's bullying Gyarados once by Earthquake, but when Lysandre used a cheat code - oh, I mean Mega Evolution, on his Gyarados (and, of course, the design of Mega Gyarados leaves a LOT to be desired... Like all the other Mega Forms, in my opinion :icondoublefacepalmplz: ), Chainy was able to get his own back....

Asumo the Pangoro: The tank of the team, Asumo is the best friend of Conker, and he helps him chop up wood he uses in his crafting. While being under the training of Tyson and Sleepy (Sleepy now undergoes sumo training, as he felt he slowed the team down too much), Asumo has become one of the strongest of Callum's Pokemon, and Conker once said that Asumo could put the strongest Ursaring to shame... Asumo enjoys sustaining a tough guy image, enjoying wearing a ripped up robe, but he does often stand up for the younger and smaller members of the team who may not be able to defend themselves - for example, when Chainy was in trouble once, Asumo gave the bully who attacked him a good hiding...

Asumo's moves are Crunch, Strength, Surf, Karate Chop, Power-Up Punch, Low Sweep and Sky Uppercut, and he is almost like a tank in the team - in the game, he beat up Lysandre's Gyarados after it knocked out poor Chainy the first time, performed well in fights against Grant, Clemont and Wulfric, and he also performed well against Malva's Pyroar, Torkoal and Chandelure, and against Diantha's Aurorus.

Borealis the Aurorus: Still having her heads in the clouds at times, Borealis loves basking in the moonlight, and she still enjoys freezing bodies of water to make beautiful ice sculptures.... Having adapted slightly to the new era that she has come to live in, she still keeps her strange amulet polished, and she has had some problems with the chip that she has on her ankle, that was put on it by Amber Industries when she was resurrected... The tallest member of the team, she often helps reach up to really tall places. While basking in the moonlight, she has also developed a rather nice voice, and she hums quite a lot. (I can imagine her voice sounding like Tarja Turnunen, the former lead singer of Nightwish - here is a song sample for you to listen to so you can know what she sounds like :aww: - www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zo1PT6… )

Borealis' attacks are Earthquake, Thunder, Ice Beam, Rock Tomb, Ancient Power, Avalanche and Take Down. She has been a VERY proficient member of the team, and she performed well in fights against Ramos, Clemont and Valerie, and she took out ALL of Drasna's team, Siebold's Gyarados (one hit from Thunder :D ) and Malva's Talonflame, and she also - albeit a close call, was able to take out Diantha's Goodra.

Barnacle the Dragalge: Even more unkempt than before she evolved, Barnacle has taken to burying herself in the sand whenever she gets a chance to go by the beach. She still has a love for being dirty and camouflaging herself among kelp and seaweed, and she has even began wearing some pieces of kelp on her arms. She sometimes says 'What's the point of taking a bath if you're going to get dirty again anyway?' She has actually become very popular with the children belonging to some members of the team, especially Cascade, Slough, Watt and Tinder, as they also enjoy playing in the mud. Some say that she's being a little bit of a bad influence, but she does really know what makes a child happiest - getting good and muddy...

Barnacle's attacks are Sludge Bomb, Venoshock, Aqua Tail, Hydro Pump, Waterfall and Dragon Pulse, and while, like Aggie, she was late in entering into the Hall of Fame, she has REALLY helped the team out a lot, especially in fights against Ramos and Valerie. When she went up against the Elite Four, she beat Malva's Pyroar, Torkoal and Chandelure and Diantha's Aurorus.

Deadwood the Trevenant: After becoming close friends with Aggie, Deadwood has come to accept his own deep dark secret, and after spending time on a pilgrimage with Callum's friend Alex (thank you :iconthebigman0207: for trading Deadwood with me :D ), has evolved into a Trevenant. He is a protector of nature and lost souls going to their rest, but some would say that his past is a little bit contradictory of this role he has given himself. Nonetheless, he is very charitable, and those Pokemon seeking shelter from cold, stormy nights come to him and his fellow Dewdrop Druids for help and nourishment. He still manages to spend a lot of time with his friends and teammates, but every night, he goes to the Winding Forest, where his fellow Druids have set a kind of 'Abbey' up, where they promote the old traditional ways of monks and pilgrims. Deadwood's friends have since come to accept the dark truth he has, but he still wears his hooded robe over his chest, trying to hide the secret from those who would ostracise him for it. (I can imagine Deadwood would sound like Brendan from The Secret of Kells - here is a clip where you'll you hear a snippet of his voice - youtu.be/F-am8lpUtH8 (younger Brendan, so this would be what Deadwood would sound like as a Phantump) and as a Treverant, he would sound like older Brendan, who we see later on in the film - if you haven't seen The Secret of Kells, I highly recommend you do - also because I've partly based Deadwood on Brendan. Also, what IS Deadwood's secret? To be revealed soon... :evileye: )

Deadwood's attacks are Shadow Ball, Phantom Force, Shadow Claw, Wood Hammer, Horn Leech and Poison Jab. He performed well in the fight against Olympia, and he was also able to triumph against what is, in my opinion, two of the most challenging opponents in the Pokemon League - Wikstrom's Aegislash (Phantom Force isn't effected by King's Shield :XD: ) and Diantha's cheat code - er, I mean, Mega Gardevoir... which looks like Gardevoir has put on weight and got rips in her dress... Oh, and it only took one hit from Deadwood's Shadow Claw... Wow, cheaters NEVER prosper, do they? Was it worth using a Mega Form, Diantha? Was it? Oh, and he also took out Siebold's Starmie. :D

:w00t: I'll be drawing some comics relating to me meeting these characters soon - the one for Conker is being coloured in, and I'm drawing the one for Smithee. :D And also, for the ones who haven't entered the Hall of Fame, I'm planning on training Aggie and Barnacle, and then fighting the Elite Four again so they can enter the Hall of Fame.

Also, I know that some of these characters may be a bit udnerdeveloped, as I am sometimes pretty bad at developing my characters' personalities ^^;, so if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to suggest. :aww:

Once again, a big thank you to :iconvindurza: and :iconthebigman0207: for helping me meet Aggie and Chainy, and for helping Deadwood evolve. Some parts of their backstories are based on DA comment conversations we had. :highfive:

hey callum, it's me joacocapurro. you may know me. i was the one who tought maddy, your deceased dog, was a fox terrier like a dog of mine named malón who also passed away. I AM THE REAL ONE, NOT A JOKE!!! one day, i forgot my password, and i made a new account, which i am currently using. anyways, i am working on a comic series about a toad named fernando who after being catapulted to australia tries to find his way back home. anyways, i was thinking about in one of the episodes, fernando will be dreaming. in that dream, he will be on the pokemon world, and you would pass by fernando and engage him to a battle. i was thinking that the pokemon you would use would be barnacle the dragalge. i came to ask you permission to use her in that part of the comic when fernando dreams about him being in the pokemon world, so what do you say?
