Pokemon Tales - The Mega Frontier 8

Part 7 -

Part 8 of The Mega Frontier.

In this part, Asumo goes looking for some Pokémon to help the team during the Castelia Combat Conference (I just noticed - I use a LOT of alliteration in naming big events, teams or places in my comics, don't I? ). He comes across Mulch and Conker.... who continue to not be on good terms with each other.

I was thinking of drawing in Asumo's loud shouting causing car alarms to go off as well as scatter birds and alert the neighbours, but I couldn't find space - I'll put in the car alarms going off in the next part.

I was thinking of a Mega Evolved Pokémon that Conker faced, and seen as he did do well against Serena's Mega Absol in Pokémon Y, I chose that one. I also wanted some more practice drawing more Mega Evolutions.

Tyson also gives Splash the Seaking a message in a bottle to send to his parents regarding the Castelia Combat Conference and his fear of Mega Evolutions.

It's really nice to draw Splash again - he's a character I haven't drawn in ages! I think an issue is that Splash is confined to the water, being a fish, and as such, he can't easily join his teammates on any excursions that don't have large bodies of water nearby. But Psyches is planning on something to help him join his teammates on dry land. Splash, as well as being one of the team's resident explorers, being a treasure hunter in the sea, also delivers messages for his friends by swimming quickly and carrying messages in bottles.
